Dubai International Airport is based in the largest city of the United Arab Emirates. It is a major aviation hub in the Middle East, and is the main airport of Dubai.
Terminal 2 is used primarily for charter flights, and certain services within the Gulf region.

The airport is operated by the Department of Civil Aviation and is the home base of Dubai's international airline, Emirates Airline and Emirates SkyCargo; the Emirates hub is the largest airline hub in the Middle East and Africa; it handles 60% of all passenger traffic, and accounts for 38% of all aircraft movements at the airport.
As of June 2009, there over 5,600 weekly flights operated by nearly 100 airlines to over 200 destinations across all six continents.
In 2009, the airport was the 17th busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic and 11th busiest by cargo traffic.

Requirement: Objective was to achieve 'one-way glazing' in certain areas of the airport where privacy and security are of the upmost importance. Immigration, offices and arrival halls were treating with the reflective film. Inside the office areas of the terminal a lighter shade of film was used to ensure balance with the internal lighting in the building and the percentage of visable light allowed into the room.
