Spontaneous GLass Failure
Spontaneous glass breakage

Unpredictable glass failure can be a concern for those responsible and involved with risk, health and safety and property management. Toughened glass has been known to spontaneously break, shattering for no apparent reason. The worry is you don't know about the problem until it's too late.
Specified as stronger than ordinary glass, toughened glass will, upon failure, break into small rounded pieces rather than the large shards created by ordinary glass. It is however still dangerous, especially in public areas and in an overhead glazing situation where the broken glass will fall into the area below.
Glass containment and anchoring
Combining the strength and elasticity of Pentagon International clear anti-shatter glass containment safety film and Anchoring, designed to capture and absorb any shock caused by breakage without deterioration or tearing, allows the frame or bolted system to bend and twist to accommodate a variety of impact stresses including breakage due to spontaneous fracture.
A cost effective protection system installed with the minimum of disruption, this will hold the glass adhered to the film anchored in place allowing time to safely remove the broken pane. This provides peace of mind, ensuring health and safety and risk management is maintained.
This can be a retro-fit solution which avoids the necessity of costly re-glazing and acts as an instant lifesaver.
